Seven Corners RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance – Review
Looking for modestly priced trip protection that still offers ways to protect you and your family while on vacation? Seven Corners RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance is one possible choice.
However, with only $10k of Travel Medical Cover, it is not a recommended plan for those heading overseas.
Review of Seven Corners Trip Insurance Company: Overview of RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance
Organizing – and paying for – a trip, either by yourself or with your family, represents a major investment. It’s important to protect that investment, and one of the most economical ways to do so is with RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance.
Seven Corners Travel Insurance: What is RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance?
Seven Corners RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance is more than just travel medical cover. In fact, while it does provide up to $10,000 in medical protection and up to $100,000 in benefits for emergency medical evacuation or repatriation – and up to $10,000 in common carrier AD&D – it does much more than that.
RoundTrip Economy’s trip cost protection benefits are quite robust. Trip cancellations are covered to 100% of trip costs up to $20,000, as are costs incurred by trip interruption as well. Trip delays and missed connections are likewise insured up to $250 each. Meanwhile, delays in baggage delivery provide $100 in benefits, while lost, stolen, or damaged baggage is insured up to $500.
There are plenty of optional benefits included as well. Up to $500,000 in flight accident cover is available, as is $35,000 in rental car damage protection. As an added benefit, 24/7 travel assistance service is also thrown in.
Seven Corners Travel Insurance Review: What’s Missing From RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance?
First and foremost, there is no cover for pre-existing conditions under RoundTrip Economy. As an affordable travel medical insurance plan, however, this is to be expected. You’ll also not be covered if you injure yourself while engaging in “adventure sports” activities like mountain climbing, hang gliding, and other, similar activities.
Additionally, eligibility for baggage protection is not available for electronics, durable medical equipment, most (if not all) vehicles, or household furnishings. Cover, meanwhile, is limited to trips of 90 days or fewer.
Our biggest concern is that the medical cover is inadequate for those who are heading overseas. We recommend no less than $100k of Travel Medical Insurance when leaving the USA. With overseas hospital costs in excess of $3k – $4k per day in extreme cases, $100k of cover is our minimum recommended level.
For that reason, we recommend you buy Seven Corners RoundTrip Travel Insurance for domestic trips in the US, where you can rely upon your personal health insurance.

Review of Seven Corners Trip Insurance Company: RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance Overall Rating
RoundTrip Economy Travel Insurance from Seven Corners is a highly affordable trip insurance plan that provides excellent value for money. That being said, this insurance cover may not be the best choice if you have specific medical needs that aren’t covered or if you’re planning on traveling with very expensive objects or gear in your baggage.
As mentioned, it is not a plan we recommend for overseas travel.
However, if you’re not in a situation where these issues could cause a possible problem, RoundTrip Economy is probably the best bang for your buck for a short, domestic, trip insurance plan.

I Panicked When I Discovered
I panicked when I discovered the Travel Insurance I had through Expedia had expired when I changed my flight reservation.
When I went to renew I was told I couldn’t.
I discovered Aardvark on my AARP site and I was excited I could purchase an even better travel plan with cover starting with my trip departure, at a cost I could afford.
I was confused with the initial site and Mr. Breeze reached out to me for clarification.
He explained the policy more thoroughly and addressed all my concerns, can’t get any better than that!
Thank You Aardvark and thank you Jonathan for your assistance.
I can go on my trip now knowing I’ll be covered for medical emergencies, and then some.
Good Choices, Well Explained
I liked the way insurance was explained. I had read an article your company had written explaining Expedia trip cover versus other choices.
I used this advice to make the best choice for me and my traveling companions. That choice was to take a policy that provided much better medical and evacuation primary care.
Your site allowed comparisons, and I think I got the best value for my money. I don’t like constant follow up emails, though. You could back off a bit!!
